• Revised the Audit Committee Charter to include three residents, allowing the Board to appoint an ex officio liaison from the Fiscal Affairs Advisory Committee.

• Consistently advocates for a broad, diverse set of voices to identify risks for the Board, County Manager, and County Auditor.

• Serves as the County Board liaison to the Audit Committee.

KEY VOTES

• Takis voted not to increase real estate property taxes in 2021, citing the toll that the ongoing coronavirus pandemic is taking on residents.
